The Kenya Association of Paediatric Surgeons (KAPS) held a Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) workshop for paediatric surgeons, running across two virtual sessions (16th and 18th June) and a hands-on in-person day on 24th June 2026 at Coast General Teaching & Referral Hospital, Mombasa. Led by expert faculty including Dr Patricia Othieno, Dr Bernadette Muthee, Dr Nidhi Leekha, Dr Gerlin Naidoo, and Dr Hetal Gohil. Over 20 participants from institutions across Kenya gained practical diagnostic skills directly applicable in resource-limited clinical settings.
