The Kenya Association of Paediatric Surgeons (KAPS) Local Organizing Committee, in collaboration with Medical Aid Alliance and the County Government of Garissa, organized a paediatric surgical camp at the Garissa County Referral Hospital. The camp aimed to address the surgical needs of the paediatric population in Garissa County, Kenya. 

The objective of the camp was to provide necessary surgical interventions to children in need, especially those from low-income backgrounds and those in the Dadaab refugee camp who lack access to specialized surgical care.
