The book's cover shows the timeless Bo Knows photo with him shirtless, wearing shoulder pads, with his baseball bat over his shoulders...it's quite the image.I grew up in Kansas City in the 80s and 90s, and Bo Jackson was a superhero! He was an All-Star outfielder for the Kansas City Royals (All-Star MVP in 1989), and he later played for the Chicago White Sox & the Angels. Bo was the Heisman Trophy winner in college football, & he played football for the Los Angeles Raiders (1990 Pro Bowler). Bo Jackson's face was everywhere at this time with the Nike Bo Knows advertising campaign.
