The Kenya Association of Paediatric Surgeons (KAPS) held its Annual Scientific Conference from June 26 to 27, 2025, at Travellers Beach Hotel in Mombasa. The event attracted 54 delegates, including international participants from Nigeria, Canada, and Somalia, as well as a multidisciplinary team comprising paediatric surgeons, residents, general surgeons, and anaesthesiologists. The conference covered key areas such as gastrointestinal and colorectal surgery, paediatric urology, surgical oncology, minimal access surgery, neonatal surgery, hepatobiliary surgery and general paediatric surgery. In addition, interactive sessions explored the latest technological advances in paediatric surgical practice. The 2-day event provided an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, research collaboration, and professional networking.The event was lauded for its relevant scientific content and efficient organization.
