Beautiful set of 10 vintage Royal Copenhagen plates from the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale series. Each 7.5” plate features a beloved Danish fairy tale. This set includes:

The Shepherdess and the Chimney Sweep
The Nightengale
The Red Shoes
The Emperor's New Clothes

In addition to the vibrantly colored illustrations, these plates also feature a beautiful gilt trim.

In excellent vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some slight scratching to the gilt on some plates consistent with age (see photos for examples).
