This is a rare notebook from the Glenlivet scotch distillery. It Has a tongue-in-loop front closure and a gold-colored page marker ribbon. There are 240 blank (unruled pages) plus a printed title page. The cover is brown ultrahyde over stiff cardboard making a hardcover, akin to a leatherette material.The front of this blank book is embossed with the stylized phrase, Smooth flowing one, as well as the reproduced signature of George Smith, two crossed dueling pistols, the George & J. G. Smith seal, and the Est’d 1824 seal. On the back is embossed The Glenlivet and again the George & J. G. Smith seal.This item has become much harder to find ever since the recent boom in interest of whiskeys of all sorts, and this would make a great gift for any scotch connoisseur.
