As shown. See all photos. **Gorgeous** little hardcover hymn book given to my mother’s mother’s father’s father by a dear friend. Inscribed and dated Oct. 18, 1906. fabulous condition save for a few flaws you see in pics (outside more so than on pages, and it’s minimal.)

“Cupples & Leon was an American publishing company founded in 1902 by Victor I. Cupples (1864–1941) and Arthur T. Leon (1867–1943). They published juvenile fiction and children's books but are mainly remembered at present as the major publisher of books collecting comic strips during the early decades of the 20th century.”

“Phillips Brooks (December 13, 1835–January 23, 1893) was an American Episcopal clergyman and author, long the Rector of Boston's Trinity Church and briefly Bishop of Massachusetts. He wrote the lyrics of the Christmas hymn, "O Little Town of Bethlehem.””
